Ocean breathe:- The sound that comes out of doing this Ujjayi pranayama is like the sound of waves in the sea. So that’s why this Ujjayi pranayama is called Ocean breathe. 



How to do Ujjayi pranayama for a beginner to expert:-

First of all we will try to understand its basic the most important thing to understand in this Ujjayi Pranayama or ocean breathe is that our throat is used when we inhale and when we exhale.

Step 1- Now let’s learn how to take breath in:-

Just like we breathe normally we have to breathe but while doing Ujjayi pranayama or ocean breath we have to tighten our throat a little bit when you breathe in, the breath is going in through the nose, then you have to feel at that time that you are going through your windpipe into the lungs.

Second thing in Ujjain pranayama or ocean breathe we fill the lungs completely. The more we feel the lungs with breath the better it is for this Ujjayi pranayama or Ocean breathe. So the breathe will be renewed till the stomach, only the lungs will be properly filled.

Step 2- Now we will learn to breathe out:-

 You people have learned to breathe in, Now we will fill the breathe slowly inside by tighting the throttle. Then after that putting of your chin down towards the collar bone we will put Jalandhar banda and lock your breath hold it for a while - - - Then folding your head up, close your right nostril and exhale through the left nostril.
